Beacon Park Detroit
Beacon Park attracts visitors with its expansive green space, year-round events, interactive light installations and restaurant featuring rooftop seating with panoramic views of the park and city skyline.
Our vision will create an ambience for individuals with accessibility & mobility limitations into a barrier free event. Our event organizer, Meli Di, was the 2019 TedxClosing speaker on disability awareness as lady business owner living in downtown Detroit.
“This mission will empower event planners on how to overcome challenges faced in accessibility & mobility using our agency playbook. This playbook is a step-up in leadership organization on how events should be strategizing for “inclusivity” welcoming all individuals on multiple mobility levels,” shares DiVietri. “Still Loading, will become the prime example on how thought leadership will always be advised to include ADA compliance guidelines for a barrier-free festival. This is only the beginning; an ADA platform, LED wall, ramps at entry points, drop off sections are just a few!’
“DI Techno presents an experiment in art & music with collaboration of local producers and artists who have orchestrated a two day event to host an Open Air Art Festival called Still Loading. Our all-ladies agency at DI Techno has been determined to stay consistent during the pandemic and fall forward into opportunities that will inspire our community of Detroiters. Still Loading was designed to enhance your imagination with medium to large art installations that will be interactive with lights, color and ambience. Our large music tents has stage design by local artists who have been going to work since last September. We are hosting live painters that will create their masterpieces in sync of our producers who will amplify the sounds of Techno, Tech-House & Deep House. We are actively seeking sponsorships to support our vision, local artists & musicians and creatives; if you are inspired by our open air festival, please contact event organizer; Melissa DiVietri.
